Signs of coming times

dan got up early with the kids this morning, so i did not witness this first hand. i can only assume emily is a little upset with ethan over coming in her room -- this is what i found:


now, the only thing emily can write is her name and dan's. but the message written on the paper that's taped to her door looks sorta threatening to me. after i saw it i asked her what it was. she told me it was a sign for max (she sometimes calls herself ruby and ethan max - she loves the show max and ruby). anyway, i asked her what the sign said and she told me it was a sign that said no max. okay, so she has a "no little brothers allowed" sign on her door - that's not what i'm concerned about. IT'S THE sash and tomahawk looking thing she's hung from the doorknob. WHAT does that mean?? yikes. i hope max stays away! :)
