"FIZZ"BO update

notice what i put in quotes...no lookers yet. well, we've had tons of people look at the house online, but we've not shown the house yet. dan found a site called statcounter that will count the number of hits you have on a website - so he set it up to count hits on our webpage about the house. it's very interesting because you get to see what city they are in, their ip address, etc. it's quite neat.

let me tell you a couple of funny stories:

EVERY WEEK we get junk mail from the realtors in our area soliciting our business. well, we decided to turn the tables on them. we spammed most of the realtors in our area with an email soliciting THEIR business. it was funny. we've only had one negative reply; from the nastiest relater in our area. she sorta threatened to turn us in to HAR (houston area realtors) for using the MLS template on our site. i was a little nerved out about it, but dan fixed our site (he just ripped off a california agents format) and emailed her back and told her (basically) to get a life. i guess we can't count on her to show our house! we are pretty satisfied with ourselves for spamming them; now they'll have a taste of their own medicine.

i've done an okay job of keeping the house clean and ready to show. of course, monday i fell short and it was a little messy, so naturally an agent stopped by to talk to me. he looked inside and saw my messy faced kids, laundry baskets everywhere and old lollipops stuck to the carpet and said he'd get back to me. so yesterday while they were at MDO i killed myself cleaning the house - and really, the house was only about 15 minutes from being clean on monday, but you know. i washed windows again, dusted and did all the things to make the house shine - all the while praying someone would call. no calls. so i guess i need to leave the house a little messy and see what happens...

and yes, the new house will have a place for the futon - but bf, you can be upgraded to the guest bedroom no no additional cost. :)
