Prayer request *updated
well, we've had some pretty interesting times around here lately. and really, when i say interesting, i mean hellish.
emily woke up with a stomach virus friday night (i guess sat. morning) at 4. she vomited up almost every 30 minutes, so dan called the pediatrician and got her in at 9:20. she vomited up in the car right before we got there. yuck. thank goodness i had an old mcdonald's bag!
she got a prescription, but continued to vomit. sunday night she started having signs of dehydration, so i took her to the ER. while we were waiting for her to be seen, i began vomiting. nice. dan came and relieved me. he spent the night in the hospital with emily, i spent the night in the bathroom.
emily got an iv, and was put on fluids until 5 pm monday. she came home in great spirits. she was a little sad she did not get to play with the other sick kids like curious george did when he went to the hospital.
dan stayed home yesterday so i could get better. i got worse. emily got a little better. by 11:30 last night, ethan was vomiting, emily too, and so was i!! good news though; ethan is asleep now and has not vomited since around 3:30 this morning. he does have some stomach issues though. the doctor told dan when emily was in the hospital that stomach issues meant you were on the other side of the virus. i hope so.
pray for us. please pray elliot does not come down with it. we are doing all we can to keep him away from me and ethan. dan is healthy right now. please pray he continues to stay well. we have family coming in this weekend because elliot is (finally!) being dedicated, so if dan can just stay well until friday we will have reinforcements!

**update -- ethan is on his way to the peditrician's office, his symptoms are much worse. please pray he does not have to be admitted to the hospital!
