Hitting the highlights
not much going on around here. my machine is home, so i've been sewing my fingers to the bone trying to catch up on orders. when i sew a lot, that leaves emily and ethan to their own devices (not for long) -- until, that is, i hear suspicious conversations like; can you reach the paint? or, i fink de plants need watering. or, how about we get a snack? it's hard to cram what i need to do for cutesy cloths when elliot only sleeps a short time. i've been totally spoiled with his napping for long hours...i guess i'll have to adjust. :) i've also taken a break from formally homeschooling until i can get caught up. i feel bad, but they don't seem to mind.
elliot was napping, but he and ethan matched.

we have planted a garden of sorts in the back yard. watermelon, a variety of herbs, flowers and tomatoes. dan also built a compost pile. not because we really want to go green, just because he would rather put clippings and leaves in there so he won't have to bag them up. the kids like to catch rolly pollys, worm and other insects and throw them in there. so if you are around here come on by next year and get some compost. and ashawee, i think pasta is okay - probably better than the eggshells we threw in there this weekend. :)

i'm sure they need a spring break from school just like everyone else. who's to say it can't go on a little longer than others?
i hate to give you another order to work on but the friend i wanted the bag for is gonna pop in a few weeks...so you'll probably get that order soon :)
you sound busy! we're still sick over here. ugh! i love the whack-a-moley comment. too cute! your kiddos are precious. oh and it's about time elliot gave up that 5 hr nap! :) what's it like 3 hrs now?
Sounds like you are a busy girl. You are pretty resourceful though so I am sure you will get it all done.
I don't get the whack-a-moley sauce though. You will have to explain that one to me later.
Say it out loud...with a spanish accent. Here's another hint, the kids like to help scoop out the avacados when we make it.
OOHHHHHHHHH! I get it. A little slow, but I get it now.
