Day 5

it's day five of our nine day adventure! it's been wild and crazy, but we are surviving. the kids are doing as well as can be expected. the baby has been the best; eating well and sleeping as well as he can. my mom has been with us, so that has helped a LOT. we have a one to one kid/adult ratio. i only wish that could continue until they are around 5 years old or so!

anyway. we are doing a lot of touristy things, trying to make time go a little faster. the pics below are some of emily and ethan playing in the fountain at the kemah boardwalk and elliot chilling in his car seat. they had a great time. maybe we'll go to space center houston or the zoo to kill some time. the place we are staying does not have a pool. bummer, but it does not matter anyway, it's raining outside. but on the up side, dan hooked our computer up so i have the internet to use!

Been thinking about you! Hope the transition goes as smoothly as possible. Hearing of your "touristy" adventures is making me miss the Houston area... although not the heat! Praying that you hit your new "norm" as soon as possible.

First - I am apologizing (though, not to her knowledge) for Jessica's comment. I know it was an innocent inquiry and she did not realize what it might be insinuating. Anyway -
A group from Calvary (possibly including me) will be coming to your area, in July, to help a young church (The Anchor Church) with VBS and other outreach events. One of the areas mentioned we might do something is on the "Kemah Boardwalk". I've heard this church is an exciting new work - when ya'll are settled check it out and send me a report.
Love the pics & Love ya'll!

LOL - my apology was a little tongue-in-cheek... I've known you too long, jess! I can even hear your comments in YOUR VOICE! I sure wish I could hear it in person - as well as these other "voices" in this blog world!
Ya'll come to our quaint town soon!
